Paul describes the inner workings of the church as a unified result of diverse activities and expressions. His message to these people, who formerly were considered outside the grace of God, is that they have been included in God’s plan as recipients of God’s grace and participants in His kingdom. They are now fellow heirs with the Jews. They have been saved by grace through faith. The distance between them and God has been closed. The hope of eternity has been made possible. The witness of God’s
